Back to Bolivar - September 7, 2015

I hit my 4 month mark yesterday! Pretty exciting!

This last week has been CRAZY!!! Last Tuesday we got a call from President Loveland. He told us I was going up to Bolivar again and I got a new companion, Sister Millett. Her companion had to go home so she got stuck with me. This has been my 4th companion in 5 weeks. That is a lot of companions, let me tell ya! So Tuesday I had an hour to pack up and we drove all over to pick up Sister Millett then drove up to bolivar and here we are. It has being strange coming back to bolivar but it has been good too. We have just been trying to get readjusted here. We found out Saturday that me and Sister Millett will be staying in Bolivar for the next 6 weeks. This will be my 4th transfer here. I want to get to know the rest of the mission but I'll just have to get to know bolivar a little bit better.

This has been a really long week with everything that has happened so hopefully this next week will be more normal :)

Things have been hard but for the most part it has been going really well. We hopefully will have a baptism next weekend for Tyler! It was supposed to be this upcoming week but things got confusing. Oh well. It will be great to have a baptism again. Tyler is so prepared and he loves the gospel! We have a blast teaching him!

We haven't really had investigators lately so we are trying to build up our teaching pool more. We are going to try to work with the members a lot this week. That will be really good.

I'm sorry that I have been so bad at not writing people. I promise I will try to write people today! I love hearing from you all. Thank you for all your support and all your love. I'm grateful for each and everyone one of you.

I love you lots!

Life in the Ozarks - August 31, 2015

Hello!

I've officially been in Ozark for 11 days now. I'm finally remembering who people are. It is hard to jump into a new ward but Sister O and Sister B are great at helping me remember who I have met and whatever else I need. Everyone in this ward is so nice. I really like it here in Ozark but I miss it in Bolivar. Transfer calls are on Saturday and I have no idea what will happen. I could go back to Bolivar, stay in Ozark, or go to a whole new place. We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

Sister Bastian and Sister Owens are so amazing. I'm lucky to be here in ozark with them. They are so amazing at serving their companions. wow!

We have so many great members here in Ozark. It has been fun to meet everyone. We went to Train the Trainer on Tuesday so I was able to see President Loveland again. That is always fun! It was such a great meeting!
We have been able to do a lot of service for members and just in the church this week. It has been such a blessing. I love being able to serve whenever I can.

This is a really short email! Sorry! I'm still just getting adjusted to Ozark life. It is all pretty good though. I've been sick with a cold so that isn't fun but hopefully it is almost gone! I love hearing from everyone and getting letters.

We had a great time going mini-golfing today! Here's some pictures from the week!

Have a great week!

Don't Know Where to Start... - August 24, 2015

Hope y'all are doing great!

This week has been somewhat of an adventure. It is a long story but I'll try to keep it short. Monday was really fun. We had a great time fishing again with the Lewis'. They are just the best. So Tuesday is when things got funky.

Tuesday Sister Bailey made the tough decision of going home. She has had really bad back problems since she broke her back in high school. She has been in so much pain this transfer and it has caused a lot of problems. We went to the chiropractor last Thursday and it really didn't help. Nothing you can do on a mission will be able to help it like she needs. After a long day with many phone calls to lots of people she had a flight home to Utah on Friday. It was a tough decision for her to make but it is the right decision. She can really get the help she needs there. It is sad to watch her go home but she had a such a great mission and she was a fabulous missionary! I am so grateful for the 3 weeks we got to spend together!

We spent Tuesday and Wednesday helping her pack. At this point we had no idea what was going to happen with me. We just packed and packed for her! You don't realize how much stuff you accumulate on your mission! haha! I think I"m a pro packer now :) Wednesday night we found out I was going down to Ozark to be with Sister Bastian (our sister training leader/trainer) and her trainer Sister Owens! They are super cute and I am so lucky to be in this tri-panionship now. I had to pack really fast on Thursday but I made it.

We went down to Springfield to meet them and a senior missionary couple at the stake center. We did stop at Target so that was great! I miss that place. The Averetts (a senior missionary couple) met us at the building and took Sister Bailey with them down to Bentonville Arkansas. Then I came to Ozark with these wonderful sisters. I'll be able to go back up to Bolivar once a week and have lessons with our investigators. That will be really good! It is hard to leave Bolivar for now. I'm not sure what will happen at transfers in a couple weeks. We get transfer calls Saturday Sept. 5.

It has definitely been a long strange week! Ozark is a really great place though. We live with some great people. They are super sweet! It can be stressful trying to be in two different areas hours apart but it is working. Miracles!

On a different note, A year ago a sister missionary died in a car wreck. She had only been out three months. Her and her companion wrote down their testimonies of the book of mormon a week before and were going to pass them out. Our mission has focus this week on passing her testimony out to everyone. It has been such an amazing thing to witness. The spirit is always present as we talk about the Book of Mormon are as we share her testimony of it. I know she is working hard from the other side. Both of my previous companions know her and her companion really well. I have been blessed to feel her presence and to know her better. She was such great missionary and I am thankful for her example. I can promise you the Book of Mormon is true. It is such blessing in my life to be able to read it and feel the spirit that comes with it. It is such a blessing to me to be a missionary and to share it with others. I want to invite you all to read it and share it with those around you.

I love you all so much and think of you often.

Love,

Sister Frederickson
